Our Story.
Odd Plant was founded in 2020 from our desire to embrace quality over quantity in all things sustainability. We are constantly flooded with information about how the environment is deteriorating at an alarming rate, but there are few outlets that provide meaningful and implementable tips to combat it. That’s the role we envision for Odd Plant, and our main purpose. We want to integrate sustainable solutions into everyday life, and make it easy to do so.
Mission.
Sustainable systems go through many cycles, and no system is infinitely sustainable. Since there is no one size fits all solution, we continue our studies in modern societies, environments, and economies to identify the core issues impeding sustainability and develop more effective solutions.
Vision.
We view sustainability as the means toward a higher quality of life. Sustainability is not just environmentalism—sustainable development must also take into account social equity and economic opportunity. Learn more about social equity here.
